I am willing to do look-ups in the book "Guion Miller Roll 'Plus' of Eastern Cherokee, East & West of Mississippi, 1909" (2nd Edition, 7th printing) compiled by Bob Blankenship in 1994. This book lists both applicants that were accepted and those that were not. Send me the full name(s) of the person you are looking for and I will see if they are listed. If they are in the book, I will provide you with a digital copy of the page they appear on (as well as a copy of the cover and title page if desired -- simply let me know in your request if you want those as well).
I am willing to do look-ups in the book "Baxter County Ancestors: A Collection of Pedigrees and Family Charts of Baxter County Families, Volume 1" compiled by the Baxter County Historical Society in 1995. Send me as much info about the person or family you are seeking (full name(s), birth/death dates, parent/spouse names, etc). I will see what (if anything) the book has listed for them. If they are listed, I will make digital copies of the relevant pages and email them to you (including the cover and title pages if desired -- simply let me know in your request if you want them too).
I am willing to do look-ups within the book "Polk County, Iowa Naturalizations Declaration of Intent, May 1848 – Oct 1889" printed by the Iowa Genealogical Society in 1985. Information found in this book includes the name of the declaring individual, place they immigrated from, the date they filed their declaration, the number on the microfilm at which their declaration can be found. If you think your ancestor naturalized in Polk County, Iowa during the timeframe listed above, simply give me their name and I will see if they are listed in the book. Copyright prohibits me from sending a photocopy of the page they are listed on but I can provide a complete transcription and instructions on how to obtain a copy of the original certificate.
I have easy access to the Allen County Public Library Genealogy Center. Will do lookups and email information at no charge. If you are looking for an obituary, please check the online obituary index, and copy and paste the results in your email. That will speed my access to the microfilm. http://www.genealogycenter.info/search_obits1900.php Thank you and happy hunting!
I can research materials in Randolph Co. Genealogy Room.
CEMETERY: All cemeteries in Onondaga County. I will photograph any tombstone you want. Please furnish the the name and dates of the person you are seeking. I will let you know if the cemetery is too large to search, and you will then need to contact the office for grave location.
I am able to check local cemeteries and courthouse records for Washington County.
I have many resources in my personal library that I am willing to research for general look-ups, such as names, birth, death, marriage, etc. if they are listed in a specific area (for example, Walker names in Brown County, Ohio). There is no charge for my time, but since I have custody of a four year old grandson, please allow a reasonable amount of time for me to get back to you; usually within the week. I hope you are willing to do the same.
